Horsley Applauds Eagle Scout Sean Fox

Written by Long Island News & PR  |  28. June 2013

June 28, 2013 - Lindenhurst, NY - Deputy Presiding Officer Wayne R. Horsley presented Eagle Scout Sean Anthony Fox from Lindenhurst Troop 383 with a proclamation and offered his congratulation as he received his prestigious Eagle Scout Award.

Although many Scouts begin the difficult journey which leads them to the pinnacle of their scouting careers, only a small percentage actually achieves their goal and receives the esteemed Eagle Scout Award. Sean demonstrated a unique commitment to leadership, scholarship and service to his community during his career. For his Eagle Project, he researched, planned and supervised the planting of trees and perennials to beautify a sitting area at the Developmental Disabilities Institute in Huntington.

Many of Sean’s family members, friends, and peers were present for this momentous occasion. Pictured are Deputy Presiding Officer Wayne R. Horsley and Eagle Scout Sean Fox.
