Suspect Sought in Connection with Group Assault of Medford Teenager

Medford, NY - June 23, 2017 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating the person who assaulted a teenager in Medford last month.
 
A 16-year-old male went with four people into the woods, located on Horseblock Road, on May 20 at 1:50 p.m. The males assaulted the 16-year-old, who was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Two 16-year-old males and one 18-year-old man, who all were known to the victim, have been arrested and charged with Assault 3rd Degree. A fourth person (pictured) is still wanted for the assault.
 
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
