Learn to Surf on Long Island

Written by Eric Anderson  |  22. June 2014

Long Island features some of the most beautiful beaches on the East Coast. For most people, this means that summer gives them the chance to kick back, take in the sun and enjoy the ocean. But for those looking to stay a little more active when the heat comes, Long Island is the perfect place to catch some waves.

With summer kicking off, why not take the time to learn to surf? Whether you’re brand new to the sport or looking to improve, surfing can be learned at any age. Long Island has plenty of surf shops that offer affordable surf lessons as well as camps for both adults and kids.
