CANCELLED - SCPD Issues Silver Alert for Missing Central Islip Man Suffering from Memory Loss

Sag Harbor, NY - June 21, 2017 - Suffolk County Police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing Central Islip Man who suffers from memory loss.
 
Christino Vega, 83, of Cypress St., was last seen leaving his residence on foot at approximately 12:30 p.m. today. He had a black-wheeled suitcase  and was last seen wearing a dark green baseball hat and blue jeans. Vega is described as a Hispanic male with gray hair, brown eyes, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and 160 pounds.
 
Anyone with information on Vega’s location is asked to call 911 or the Third Squad at 631-854-8352.
 
As a reminder, Silver Alert is a program implemented in Suffolk County that allows local law enforcement to share information with media outlets about individuals with special needs who have been reported missing.
