Officials: Cedarhurst Man Arrested for Possession of Narcotics With Intent to Sell, Firearms

Cedarhurst, NY - June 21, 2017 - The Major Case Squad reports the arrest of a Cedarhurst man for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance that occurred in Cedarhurst on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 5:20 pm.
 
According to Narcotics / Vice Squad detectives, the defendant Brian P. Napolitano, 19, did possess with the intent to sell 100 pills believed to be  Alprazolam ( Xanex ) for an agreed amount of US currency. Twelve more white pills believed to be Alprazolam and Benzodiazepine were also in his possession. 
 
The defendant was placed into police custody without incident. Upon further investigation, a consent search of the defendants bedroom at his residence revealed an additional 1075 Xanax pills, 1.5 Lbs. of Marijuana, 26 concentrated Cannibus, a loaded 22 Caliber revolver, and an unloaded 9 mm handgun.
 
Brian P. Napolitano is charged with five counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, one count of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance, Criminal Possession of Marijuana, and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Firearm. He was arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Wednesday, June 21, 2017.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
