Mount Sinai, NY - June 19, 2017 - The Mount Sinai Heritage Trust has launched a new GoFundMe fundraising campaign to raise $7,000 for playground repairs at North Shore Heritage Park, affectionately known as the Wedge. To make a donation, please visit www.gofundme.com/heritageplayground.

“For over a decade the Mount Sinai Heritage Trust has done a wonderful job maintaining the park and providing programs for our community,” said Suffolk County Legislator Sarah Anker. “The Heritage Trust hosts many events throughout the year, including outdoor movie nights, supported by a grant from Suffolk County. I am pleased to support the trust by providing this grant and I hope you will join me in supporting the organization so they can continue to enhance the park we all love.”

Each year, money is budgeted by the Heritage Trust to add surface materials and to make small repairs to the playground, but this year the repairs were more than anticipated. The playground is funded and maintained solely by the not-for-profit organization. For more information about the organization, please visit www.msheritagetrust.org.
