Suspect Wanted for Stealing Credit Cards & Phone in Stony Brook

Stony Brook, NY - June 19th, 2015 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Sixth Squad Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a man who used woman’s stolen credit cards.

On April 28, a person stole a female victim’s phone and credit cards from Bench Bar and Grill, located at 1095 Route 25A in Stony Brook. A short time later, a man entered the 7-Eleven, located at 1001 25A in Stony Brook and used the victim’s credit card to make a purchase.

The man is described as white, in his 20s, with a thin-build and a shaved head.  He was wearing a red shirt with a black hooded sweatshirt.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
