Wantagh, NY - June 18th, 2014 - The Narcotics/Vice Squad reports two arrests for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at 4:45 P.M. in Wantagh.
According to detectives, Christopher V. Bracco (pictured right), 28, of 648 Nassau Avenue, Freeport was operating a vehicle westbound on St. Regis Street in a suspicious manner and was stopped on the corner of Bayview Avenue by police. During the investigation the defendant and his passenger, Michael S. Wood, 28, of 397 Wynsum Avenue, Merrick were found to be in possession of a clear container containing Amphetamine and marijuana. They were placed under arrest without incident.
Both men are charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. They will be arraigned on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at First District Court in Hempstead.
