NCPD Investigating Sea Cliff Village Town Hall Break-In

Sea Cliff, NY - June 15, 2015 - Third Squad detectives are investigating a Burglary that occurred between Friday, June 12, 2015 at 5:00 pm and Monday, June 15, 2015 at 12:00 pm in Sea Cliff.

According to detectives, the Sea Cliff Mayor entered Sea Cliff Village Hall, 300 Sea Cliff Avenue and after stepping into the conference room he discovered writing on one of its walls. The writing stated, “Let us chill in parks so we don’t have to chill here!!! # give respect where respect is due”. There was also a symbol of a heart with the words “sorry janitor” written. The mayor also observed that there were windows open in the room.
