NCPD: Narcan Administered on Woman in Methadone Program
Massapequa Park, NY - June 15, 2014 - The Seventh Precinct reports the details of an Aided that occurred in Massapequa Park at 2:18 pm on June 14, 2014.
Police Officers and a Nassau County Ambulance Medical Technician responded to a local restaurant on Sunrise Highway, for a 48 year old female who was incoherent and had difficulty standing and walking. The female aided who is part of a methadone program was transported to a local hospital and while enroute stopped breathing. The AMT administered Narcan to the female who then became conscious and alert upon arrival at the hospital.
