On Monday, June 8th, Suffolk County Legislator Sarah Anker attended Suffolk County’s Annual Girl Scout Gold Award Ceremony.

Bay Shore, NY - June 12, 2015 - On Monday, June 8th, Suffolk County Legislator Sarah Anker attended Suffolk County’s Annual Girl Scout Gold Award Ceremony.  The Girl Scout Gold Award is the highest achievement in Girl Scouting.

“I commend these wonderful young ladies on achieving this prestigious recognition and I would like to wish them continued success in their future endeavors,” said Legislator Anker.

“Our Girl Scout Gold Award recipients are committed to helping others and leaving a lasting, positive impact on their communities,” says Yvonne Grant, President & CEO for Girl Scouts of Suffolk County. “These extraordinary young women exhibit a wonderful strength of character and integrity as they set a shining example of service for all of us.”
