VIDEO: Female Suspect Used Phoney $100 Bill at Melville Bakery, Cops Say

Melville, NY - June 13, 2018 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the woman who used counterfeit currency at a store in Melville last month.
 
A woman used a counterfeit $100 bill to make a purchase at Emilia’s Bakehouse, located at 664 Walt Whitman Road, on June 11 at approximately 2:10 p.m.
 
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about these incidents can contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, texting “SCPD” and your message to “CRIMES” (274637) or by email at www.tipsubmit.com. All calls, text messages and emails will be kept confidential.
