SCPD Seeking Man Who Assaulted, Robbed Woman in Huntington Parking Lot

Huntington, NY - June 13, 2018 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who robbed a woman in a parking lot in Huntington in March, 2018. 
 
A woman was walking to her car in the parking lot of Rite Aid, located at 391 West Main St., in Huntington, New York  at approximately 5:10 p.m. on March 1, 2018 when a man pushed her to the ground and took her purse and keys. When a female witness attempted to intervene, the man punched her in the chest, knocking her to the ground. The man then fled on foot eastbound on West Main Street. 
 
The man is described as Hispanic, in his late 20s to early 30s, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, 180-200 pounds, balding brown hair and a round scruffy face. He was wearing a dark gray NorthFace jacket with black sleeves.
