Nassau County Executive Curran Attends 13th Annual Latina Hat Luncheon

Mineola, NY - June 12, 2018 - Nassau County Executive Laura Curran recently attended the 13th Latina Hat Luncheon, presented by the Long Island Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Inc., which celebrated “The Year of the Women”. This year’s luncheon was emceed by Lisa Mateo, host of WPIX 11’s “Celebrity Taste Maker” and keynoted by Dascha Polanco of the Netflix Original series Orange is the New Black.
 
The LIHCC was founded in 1988 to advance the business needs of Long Island’s Hispanic community. It is an active chamber, serving both Nassau and Suffolk County. The Chamber’s goal is to provide members with business support, professional development workshops, advocacy programs, resource materials and networking opportunities that will help their businesses prosper. The Long Island Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is also a supporter of education, the arts, as well as corporations and organizations with similar missions.
