SCPD Advisory: Oheka Castle Shooter Wanted for Assault

Huntington, NY - June 12, 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the person or people who were involved in a shooting in Huntington in February.
 
Oheka Castle owner Gary Melius was shot in the head while walking to his car on the grounds of the castle on February 24 at approximately 12:30 p.m. The shooter fled the scene in an older model, light-colored four-door Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
