Written by Long Island News & PR  |  11. June 2015

Stony Brook, NY - June 11, 2015 - Suffolk County Police are investigating a missing persons case during which a mother abducted her child instead of turning him over to Suffolk County Child Protective Services.

Kristin Kapp was ordered to turn over her son, Sebastian Parsons-Kapp, to CPS. When she ignored the order, a Family Court Warrant for Child Neglect was issued on April 27. The child’s father, who previously had an order of protection that prohibited contact with the child, reported him missing on June 9.

Kapp and her son, 5, who were living in Stony Brook, are believed to be in New York, possibly in New York City.

Anyone with information about this incident or where the pair is located is asked to contact 911 or Sixth Squad detectives at 631-854-8652.
