Suffolk County Police Fourth Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that killed a man in Ronkonkoma.

 

Robert M. Nolan Jr. was driving a 2015 Honda Accord westbound on Veterans Memorial Highway when the vehicle veered off the roadway near Johnson Avenue and struck a metal utility pole at approximately 9:30 p.m. The vehicle caught fire and became fully engulfed in flames.

 

Nolan Jr., 52, of Holbrook, was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.
