SCPD Crime Alert: Man Wanted for Using Fake $100 at Nesconset Business

Nesconset, NY - June 10th, 2015 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who passed counterfeit currency at a Nesconset business.
 
A man entered Swirls N Twirls, located at 248 Smithtown Boulevard, on May 4, 2015 at approximately 1:50 p.m. and made a purchase using a counterfeit $100 bill. The suspect is described as a white male in his early 20s.
 
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
