NCPD Seeking Suspect Who Ran Off with Jewelry at Sunrise Mall

Massapequa, NY - June 10, 2015 - The Seventh Squad reports the details of a Grand Larceny that occurred on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 7:13pm in Massapequa.

According to Detectives, the unknown suspect entered Sears located at 600 Sunrise Mall and approached the clerk at the jewelry counter.  The suspect requested to see a 24 inch 10 karat gold necklace valued at approximately $1125.00.  When the suspect had the necklace in his possession he ran out of the store without paying for it.  The suspect fled on a gray colored mountain bicycle.  No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5’9”, stocky build, 220 – 230lbs, thin style mustache, wearing a black colored baseball cap, black colored jacket with studded lettering and blue jeans.
