Central Islip, NY - June 9th, 2015 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Third Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a pair who stole a customer’s pocketbook at a Central Islip store last month.

A man and woman entered Family Dollar, located at 120 Wheeler Road, and stole a customer’s pocketbook that was in a shopping cart while the customer was not looking on May 2 at 1:35 p.m. The pocketbook contained credit cards.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
