Suffolk SPCA Charges Bay Shore Woman with Beating Her 10 Year-Old Pomeranian
Bay Shore, NY - June 7, 2018 - On Wednesday, June 6, 2018 a Bay Shore woman was charged with animal cruelty by Suffolk County SPCA detectives after receiving an anonymous complaint.
Diana Friel of Bay Shore was charged with one (1) count of animal cruelty. A video showed Friel cruelly beating Bella a 10 year old Pomeranian. Bella was seized by the Suffolk County SPCA from the home and transported to a local animal shelter.
Friel is scheduled to appear in First District Court in Central Islip on August 13, 2018.
