Wantagh Masseuse in Police Custody, Charged with Prostitution, Officials Report

Wantagh, NY - June 6, 2017 - The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of a Queens woman for Unauthorized Practice of a Crime that occurred on Monday, June 5, 2017 in Wantagh.
 
According to Narcotics Vice Squad detectives, after several complaints from a local school and a community church an investigation was made into the activities at Foot Spa located at 1943 Wantagh Avenue.
 
On June 5, 2017 a detective entered the spa and received an unlicensed massage for an agreed amount of US currency. Defendant Hui Meng, 52, of Flushing offered to perform a sexual act for an additional amount US currency. Defendant Meng was placed under arrest without incident.
 
Defendant Meng is being charged with Unauthorized Practice of a Crime and Prostitution. She will be arraigned on Tuesday, June 06, 2017 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
