Farmingville Teen Arrested for Stabbing another Teen, According to Authorities

Suffolk County Police arrested a teen after he stabbed another teen in Farmingville.
 
Three 16-year-old males were involved in an altercation on Berkshire Drive when one of the teens was stabbed. The victim, a Ronkonkoma resident, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. There were no other injuries.
 
Sixth Squad detectives arrested a 16-year-old male from Farmingville, whose name is not being released due to his age, and charged him with Assault 2nd Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th Degree. He is scheduled to be arraigned at Youth Court in Central Islip on June 4.
 
The investigation is continuing.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
