Police: Suspect Makes Off With Over $50,000 in Jewelry From Westbury Business

According to Detectives, a male walked into Kay Jewelers and did remove assorted jewelry from the display case.

Westbury, NY - June 5, 2018 - Third Squad Detectives are investigating a Grand Larceny that occurred on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 6:50 P.M. in Westbury.
 
According to Detectives, a male walked into Kay Jewelers located at 630 Old Country Road and did remove assorted jewelry from the display case. Suspect exited the store without making payment for the jewelry which is valued to be in excess of $50,000 dollars.
 
He is described as a light skinned male Hispanic or black approximately 30-40 years of age. Suspect weighs approximately 250-280Lbs. He was wearing a red hat, black shirt and blue jeans.
