Nassau Police Investigating Dead Body Found Buried in Roosevelt Preserve
Roosevelt, NY - June 5, 2018 - Homicide Squad detectives are investigating a Homicide that was discovered on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 8:35 A.M. in Roosevelt.
According to detectives, the body of a male was discovered buried in a wooded area of the Roosevelt Preserve. Subsequent investigation has deemed the death a criminal homicide.
Detectives have identified the deceased as Josue Amaya Leonor, 19, of Roosevelt. The investigation is ongoing.
