Port Jefferson, NY - June 5, 2018 - Suffolk County Legislator Kara Hahn joined the family and friends of new Eagle Scout Joe Longo during his Court of Honor ceremony held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the First Presbyterian Church of Port Jefferson.
For his community service project, Joe, a member of Troop 45, restored the courtyard and playground at our Lady of Wisdom Regional School in Port Jefferson and the courtyard behind Montfort hall. The work included clearing, debris removal, multiple plantings, as well as playground equipment restoration.
This refurbished area now allows patrons using the facilities to safely enjoy the grounds and playgrounds.
