CANCELLED - Silver Alert Issued for Steven Roth: Lindenhurst Man with Schizophrenia, Diabetes, In Need of Medication

Lindenhurst, NY - June 5, 2015 - The Suffolk County Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for a missing Lindenhurst man who suffers from schizophrenia and diabetes and is in need of medication.

Steven Roth, 55, was last seen on foot leaving a group home where he lives, located at 112 South 9th St., on June 4 at approximately 5:30 p.m.

Roth is described as white, 5 feet 9 inches tall, approximately 195 pounds, bald with green eyes. He was wearing a gray hooded-sweatshirt, jeans and a gray shirt.

Anyone with information about his location is requested to contact First Squad Detectives at 631-854-8152.

As a reminder, Silver Alert is a program implemented in Suffolk County that allows local law enforcement to share information with media outlets about individuals with special needs who have been reported missing.
