Suffolk Authorities Seeking Purse-Snatching Couple Who Used Stolen Credit Cards

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man and woman who attempted to use credit cards that were stolen in East Northport in May.
 
A man and woman stole a Louis Vuitton purse that contained cash and credit cards from a shopping cart at Stop and Shop, located at 3126 Jericho Turnpike, on May 10 at approximately 10:50 a.m. The two fled in a Red SUV. A short time later, someone attempted to use the credit cards at Walmart in Farmingdale and Sunoco in West Islip.
 
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
