Commack, NY - June 1, 2016 - The Marty Lyons Foundation, Inc. has been invited by EHE International to use its Rockefeller Center window to showcase its mission throughout the month of June. From Wednesday, June 1 through Thursday, June 30, nearly 250,000 people per day will see inspiring images and learn about the mission of the Marty Lyons Foundation through the display at 10 Rockefeller Center.

The Marty Lyons Foundation, headquartered on Long Island, was founded in 1982 by legendary New York Jets player Marty Lyons. Since its establishment, it has provided and arranged for over 7,100 special first and second wishes to children, ages 3 to 17, diagnosed with life threatening or terminal illnesses, many of whom have experienced episodes of remission.

Utilizing heartwarming photos, the window display at 10 Rockefeller Center in the Today Show Plaza between West 48th Street and West 49th Street will showcase the real life stories of children who have received special wishes through the efforts of the Foundation. In addition to information about the nonprofit’s mission, there will be a viewing screen in the center of the display with slides of many wish recipients, as well as the man who started it all, Marty Lyons, in action from his days as a star football player with the New York Jets.

“The window display at Rockefeller Center will be a magnificent and powerful communications vehicle for relating our mission to the public. We are very grateful to EHE International for the opportunity to showcase the good works of our Foundation. Spreading joy and creating important memories throughout our 10 chapters in 13 states is a rewarding experience for me, staff members, volunteers and our generous supporters. This window display in the heart of New York City will show the public what the Foundation is about and give them a glimpse of many of the bright moments in the lives of our wish children,” said Lyons.

EHE International has been a leader in preventive care and wellness services for over 100 years.  “EHE International is proud to support the Marty Lyons Foundation through this donation of our window. The display will create awareness of the Foundation’s dedicated efforts to grant wishes for children and families facing unimaginable hardship,” said Deborah McKeever, President of EHE International.
