Suffolk County SPCA Charges Huntington Woman with Animal Cruelty

Roy Gross, Chief of the Suffolk SPCA said that its detectives charged Earline Milligan, 42, of Huntington with one count of animal cruelty.

After an investigation, detectives from the Suffolk County SPCA have charged a Huntington woman with neglecting Simba, her one-year old male pit bull mix dog.  
 
Roy Gross, Chief of the Suffolk SPCA said that its detectives charged Earline Milligan, 42, of Huntington with one count of animal cruelty, a class A misdemeanor, for allowing her dog to become severely emaciated and to suffer from multiple infected open sores all over its body for a lengthy period without obtaining medical treatment, causing injury, pain and suffering to the dog.
 
Milligan surrendered to SPCA detectives on May 27, 2022 and is scheduled to appear in First District Court, Central Islip, on June 16, 2022.
