Man Killed in Islandia Auto Crash, Suffolk Officials Report

Islandia, NY - May 31, 2017 - Suffolk County Police Fourth Squad detectives are investigating a crash that killed a man in Islandia on Tuesday May 30, 2017.
 
Charles T. Peters was driving a 2007 Nissan Altima eastbound on East Suffolk Avenue when he lost control of the vehicle at Old Suffolk Avenue, struck a parked vehicle, and overturned at 7:10 a.m.
 
Peters, 46, of Central Islip, who was alone in his car, was transported by Central Islip-Hauppauge Volunteer Ambulance to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore where he was pronounced dead.
 
Detectives are asking anyone with information on this crash to call the Fourth Squad at 631-854-8452.
