East Meadow Man Arrested for Spraying Elderly Neighbor in Face with Mace, Cops Say

NCPD reports the arrest of David Likhtiger of East Meadow, 38, for Assault which occurred on Tuesday, May 30.

East Meadow, NY - May 31, 2017 - The First Squad reports an arrest for Assault which occurred on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at 11:30 pm in East Meadow.
 
According to detectives, David Likhtiger, 38, of East Meadow, went to a neighbor’s home on Chaladay Lane and began banging on the door. The victim, 75, answered the door and was sprayed in the face by pepper spray or mace.
 
The incident possibly stemmed from the victim’s dog urinating on the suspect’s lawn. Likhtiger was placed under arrest without incident.
 
He is charged with Assault 2nd degree and will be arraigned on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at First District Court in Hempstead
