NCPD: Bank Robbery Reported in Carle Place

Carle Place, NY - May 30, 2014 - The Robbery Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred Friday, May 30, 2014 at 9:48 am in Carle Place.
 
According to detectives, an unknown male black subject described as being 5’9” tall, 30-40 years of age, black shoulder length wig, black hooded sweat shirt with purple markings on front, dark hat, sun glasses, entered the Chase Bank located at 400 Old Country Road and presented a teller with a written note demanding cash. After obtaining an undetermined amount of US currency the subject fled on foot north on Roosevelt Court. The subject may have entered a side passenger door of a gray sedan. There were 5 employees and no customers present at the time. There were no injuries reported.
