SCPD Seek Church Donation Box Thief

Selden, NY - May 30, 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the individual who broke into donation boxes at a Selden church.
 
Someone broke open two wooden donation boxes and stole money at St. Margaret’s Church, located at 81 College Road, on May 21 between noon and 9 p.m. Approximately $150 was stolen from the boxes.
 
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
