Suffolk SPCA: Lucky Kitty Plucked from Dix Hills Sewer Drain

Written by Long Island News & PR  |  30. May 2019

A lucky kitty was plucked from a sewer drain in front of a Dix Hills home. This 4-5 week old kitten was in dire straights for over 24 hours. Residents called multiple agencies to help. All deemed the rescue too dangerous.

Suffolk County SPCA Detective Jennifer Pape and John Spat from Save-A-Dog Animal Protection Services responded to the location and got the kitten to safety. The kitten has been transported to an animal hospital.
