VIDEO: Authorities Seeking Suspect Who Stole Wallet from Commercial Truck in Hempstead

Hempstead, NY - May 29, 2017 - The Third Squad is investigating a Grand Larceny that occurred in Hempstead on Friday, May 19, 2017 at 10:00 am.
 
According to detectives, a male black subject entered into a commercial truck parked in the lot of 16 Cooper Street and removed a wallet that contained an unknown amount of US currency and several credit cards and then walked away.
 
At 6:59 pm the male subject entered into the Gulf Gas Station located at 434 Clinton Street and fraudulently used the credit cards.
 
The subject is described as being male, black, average build, 5’8” – 5’10” tall, 180 Lbs, grey t shirt, light grey sweat pants.
 
Detectives request that if anyone has information regarding the above crime to contact the Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
