2 Teens Arrested for Burglarizing Stony Brook Gas Station

Stony Brook, NY - May 28th, 2015 - Suffolk County Police have arrested two men for burglarizing a Stony Brook service station early this morning.
Sixth Precinct officers responded to Munch Repair Service/Getty Gas Station, located at 999 North Country Road, after being notified by a security company of the activation of a burglary alarm at approximately 3:55 a.m. Responding officers initiated a foot pursuit of two men who were seen leaving the premises and arrested the two a short time later.
Daniel Maillard, 18, of Highwood Road, Setauket, and Austin Kennedy, 18, of Whitford Road, Stony Brook, were charged with Burglary 3rd Degree.
Proceeds of the burglary, which included mostly tobacco products, were recovered.
Maillard and Kennedy will be held overnight for arraignment on May 29 at First District Court in Central Islip.
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
