Freeport, NY - May 26th, 2014 - First Squad detectives report the arrest of a Freeport man for a Robbery that occurred on May 26, 2014 at 3:46 pm in Freeport.

According to detectives, while sitting in front of his Graffing Place residence, the 23 year old male victim was approached by Allen Hubbard, 23, of 534 Archer Street. Hubbard, who produced a handgun, demanded the victim’s cell phone. After obtaining the phone the defendant fled the scene.

Information regarding the incident was broadcast to Freeport Police Department officers who, a short time later,  located Hubbard at 111 Graffing Place where he was placed under arrest without incident.

Hubbard is charged with Robbery 1st Degree and will be arraigned in First District Court, Hempstead on 05/27/2014.
