SCPD: Suspects Wanted for Hate Crime for Defacing Brentwood Mosque

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Department Hate Crimes Unit and Arson Section detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate two people who damaged property at a Brentwood mosque this month.
 
Two people entered a fenced in area at the Islamic Center of Suffolk County, located at 124 3rd St., on May 17 at approximately 2 a.m. and burned a religious flag and painted graffiti on the flag base.
 
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a fast-cash reward of $2,000 for information that leads to an arrest in this case. The reward will be issued within 72 hours.
