Suspect Wanted by SCPD for Stealing Nearly $1,000 in Tools from Home Depot

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who stole merchandise from a Huntington Station store in March.
 
A Hispanic male stole $958 worth of power tools from Home Depot, located at 785 New York Ave., on March 25 at 3:28 p.m. The man fled in a silver Nissan Altima with NY license plate JEV2886 driven by an unknown subject waiting in the parking lot. 
 
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about these incidents can contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, texting “SCPD” and your message to “CRIMES” (274637) or by email at www.tipsubmit.com.
