Nassau County Police Issue Alert for Teen Reported Missing from Syosset Group Home

Missing Persons Squad Detectives are investigating a missing juvenile from Manhattan that occurred on Friday, May 17, 2019 at 12:30 p.m. and was reported to police on Friday, May 17, 2019 at 4:25 a.m.
 
According to Detectives, Zarae Waring, 16, who resides at Mercy First Facility in Syosset, was last seen leaving Manhattan Family Court by Mercy First staff members. She is described as a female black, 5’2” tall, 100 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a teal colored sweater and gray sweatpants. Her possible destination is unknown.
 
Detectives request anyone with information regarding the above missing juvenile to contact the Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347 or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
