Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that killed a motorcyclist in Ridge on Thursday, May 16.

 

Kodi Zwolinski was driving a Suzuki motorcycle eastbound on Route 25A, just east of the William Floyd Parkway, when his motorcycle rear ended a 2001 Ford pickup driven by Marie Panhorst at approximately 12:20 p.m.

 

Zwolinski, 26, of Ridge, was transported by Ridge Fire Department Rescue to Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead where he was pronounced dead.

 

Panhorst, 54, of Mastic Beach, was uninjured. Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks.
