Shirley, NY - May 19th, 2015 - For the past 11 years, Nathaniel Woodhull Elementary School in the William Floyd School District has been recognizing student artwork by selecting one student from each grade level to have his or her work adorn the school hallways for the enjoyment and inspiration of current and future students and staff.

Eileen Randazzo, Nathaniel Woodhull Elementary School art teacher, chooses students who demonstrate artistic ability and serve as positive role models for his or her peers. This year’s honorees are Aviana Higueros, kindergarten; Aaren Arias, first grade; John Volpe, second grade; Addison Ferrari-Fattizzo, third grade; Isabella Mitterando, fourth grade; and Aden Metz, fifth grade. After the ceremony, students and their families celebrated with a bagel breakfast in the art room.
