Arrest Made in Case of Stolen Isles Glove After Final Game at the Coliseum

Update - May 19, 2015 - Defendant Matthew P. Kircheim has been arrested for the below listed crime.  He is charged with Petit Larceny and has been released on an Appearance Ticket returnable on June 2, 2015 to First District Court 99 Main Street Hempstead.

Uniondale, NY - May 18th, 2015 - The Third Squad is investigating a Larceny that occurred on Saturday, April 25, 2015 in Uniondale.

According to detectives, at the end of an Islanders game at the Nassau Coliseum 1255 Hempstead Turnpike, an unknown male subject removed a team glove which was located on the teams’ bench. The subject is described as a male white with a beard, wearing a hooded sweatshirt, blue shirt and a blue hat.

Detectives request anyone with information regarding this crime to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.  All callers will remain anonymous.
