Cops: Pennsylvania Man Charged with Several Burglaries of Nassau County Businesses

Nassau County, NY - May 17, 2018 - Fourth Squad detectives report the arrest of a Pennsylvania man for burglaries that occurred in 2015 and 2016.
 
According to detectives, Carl Esposito, 54, of Scotrun, after a subsequent investigation and the results of evidence collected at the scenes of the burglaries, led detectives to Esposito who was placed under arrest at a Pennsylvania Correctional Facility where he was serving time for unrelated offenses.
 
Esposito was found to be responsible for the following burglaries where cash was removed from the stores registers:
 
  • On 8/13/2015 – Panache & Dinos Hair Salon, 221 Rockaway Avenue, Valley Stream
  • On 8/20/2015 – Quickbite Deli Express, 137 S. Franklin Avenue, Valley Stream
  • On 10/20/2016 – Felicia’s Bagels, 951 Rosedale Road, North Woodmere
Esposito is charged with three (3) counts of Burglary 3rd Degree, Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree, two (2) counts of Criminal Mischief 4th Degree and two (2) counts of Petit Larceny. He will be arraigned in First District Court, Hempstead on 5/17/2018.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
