Laffey Real Estate Names Top Award Winners

Greenvale, NY - May 17, 2017 - In what is turning out to be a banner year for the firm, Laffey Real Estate has once again taken the podium to accept another set of prestigious honors - the 2017 Residential Real Estate Awards by Long Island Business News (LIBN) at Crest Hollow Country club.  
This is the third set of awards in as many months. In March, the firm was recognized at the Leading Real Estate Companies of the World Annual Performance Awards Convention for Top 2016 Institute Graduate, Third Place for Internal Promotions and Outstanding Participation for Institute. The tribute continued into April when Syosset Realtor, Barry Paley was recognized as Oyster Bay Township’s Power Broker at the Pulse Magazine Award Event.  Then in May, on the national stage, Laffey Real Estate received acknowledgment of their standing in annual Real Trends Top 500 Brokers in the country, while also ranking in the top 5 for Largest Independent Brokers in the State of New York, and in the top list of Leading RE Brokers in the Country as well.  
This time the management team honors its recipients for the following awards:  
  • Residential Real Estate Office of the Year, Great Neck Office, for closing on 171 units with a total sales volume in 2016 of over $210.8 Million.  Accepting the award for the office was Diane Leyden, Manager.  
  • Rookie of the Year Bradly Barnett | Syosset Office for outstanding accomplishments as a newly minted realtor closing on 26 units  26 units for a total of $15 Million sales volume and $196,615 GCI.  
  • Rising Star Residential Agent James Gavin | Manhasset Office proves time and again that a Rising Star shines brightly for excelling on a consistent basis with a total of  7 closed units for a total of $8.8 sales volume.  
  • Top Producer by GCI/Volume Michelle N. Cohen | Greenvale Office | a legend on the North Shore with a career that spans 30 years and over one billion dollars of residential real estate transactions.  In 2016, Michelle closed a total of 36 units just under $42 million sales transactions.  
  • Top Producer by Volume/GCI Barry J. Paley | Syosset Office |  A consistent top producer eclipsing yet another remarkable year.   Closing 65 units for almost $47 million.  
  • Top Residential Sale  $19.2 Million Selling Side Nancy Moinian  Another banner transaction by top realtor Nancy Moinian. 19 Acre Waterfront Estate in Sands Point With 1,600 Ft Of Shoreline And Private Deep Water Dock
