Latest Dunkin Donuts Robbery in Elmont Under Investigation as Part of an Ongoing Crime Pattern

Elmont, NY - May 17, 2016 - Major Case Bureau detectives are investigating a Robbery that occurred on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 12:01 am in Elmont.

According to detectives, a male black subject, armed with a large kitchen knife, entered Dunkin Donuts, 238-19 Linden Blvd., approached the counter area and demanded an employee to open the cash register. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money the subject fled the store and was last seen on foot heading northbound on 238th Street.

He was further described as being about 25 years old, 6’0” tall and about 170 lbs. He was wearing a dark colored hooded jacket, blue jeans and tan work boots. He also had dark sunglasses on, a dark colored cloth across his face and gloves.

None of the four employees, who were present during the incident, were injured.
