Police Release Video Footage of Man Who Stole Over $8,000 in Merchandise from Riverhead Armani Store

Riverhead, NY - May 16, 2017 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Riverhead Town Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who stole merchandise from a Riverhead store last month.
 
A man stole more than $8,500 worth of merchandise from Armani, located in the Tanger Outlet Center. One of the items stolen was a jacket worth more than $6,800. The suspect was described as a heavyset white man, wearing a white and green football jersey with the number “12” and “Namath” written on the back. He was wearing a Stony Brook University hat, red and white shorts and red sneakers.
 
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
