Mineola, NY - May 16, 2016 - Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano and Nassau County Police Acting Commissioner Thomas C. Krumpter will hold a solemn memorial ceremony for all deceased members of the Department on Tuesday May 17, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.          

The ceremony will take place at the Nassau County Police Memorial located on the front lawn of Police Headquarters, 1490 Franklin Avenue, Mineola.

Floral tributes will be placed at the memorial honoring deceased members. 

The ceremony will also include a rededication of the Nassau County Police Memorial and an unveiling of the new plaques honoring members who have made the Supreme Sacrifice.

The Police Pipe Band and Color Guard will participate along with other dignitaries.
