Rite Aid is offering free Covid-19 testing to folks 18 and over in certain states, including New York at limited locations.

 

You must pre-register on their website.

 

Although their webpage does not show the two Long Island locations recently announced as testing centers, a call to the Selden pharmacy confirmed that that store and one in Shirley will be doing the Covid-19 tests.

 

“Help protect yourself and the people around you by getting tested through this program,” the Rite Aid website reads. “Appointments will be prioritized based on answers to screening questions and testing site availability.”

 

Rite Aid says it is continuing to expand its testing across the country.

 

A message sent by Suffolk County also announced the news on Thursday morning.
